“Geometrics and Reflections” On Display in Art Gallery

The Holy Family University Art Gallery is pleased to present “Geometrics and Reflections,” an exhibition of paintings by Allan Gorman. The exhibit opens on Tuesday, February 5, and runs through February 26. An opening reception and meet and greet with the artist will take place on Tuesday, February 12, from 6-8 pm.

Gorman’s paintings explore the abstract beauty found in manufactured objects. Gorman looks for interesting shapes to explore form, composition, color, texture, and emotion. His goal is not so much to faithfully replicate objects as it is to distill what he has seen into visual stories that resonate and stir memories.

The University Art Gallery is located on the Lower Level of the Education & Technology Center on the University’s Northeast Philadelphia campus. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
