HURM 541 Organizational Staffing and Career Advancement Planning (3 credits)
Focuses on the strategies for attracting, recruiting, assessing, and selecting managerial, technical, professional, and executive personnel. The course also will provide an examination of various approaches to human resources succession planning. Aspects of Human Resources Management theories and practices will be examined. Current employment law relative to staffing and succession planning will be presented for review and discussion. The course will emphasize the use of computer systems to support human resources planning.
