Master of Education Degree in Special Education, Advanced Practice

This program is for students who have earned Special Education certification and are interested in expanding their knowledge, skills, and personal growth in accordance with recent federal mandates and emerging best practices in this dynamic field.

This program is also intended to develop reflective professionals with philosophies based on respect for all people, acceptance of individual differences, and a belief in full integration and inclusion of students into general education.

The degree requirements for the Master of Education in Special Education, Advanced Practice, are 36 Credits, which include the core requirements, professional requirements, electives, and the culminating experience. This program is only open to students with prior PA Special Education certification.
