Graduate Help and Assistance for Teachers-GRAD HAT
The Holy Family University School of Education faculty has developed a website called GRAD HAT. This website is designed as an outreach program to serve new graduates and teachers who have completed their initial teacher certification requirements. During a teacher’s first years, challenges will arise which often involve planning for instruction, managing the classroom, motivating students, dealing with individual differences, assessing student work, and working with parents. Navigating the path to continued professional development and additional credentials also present a challenge. The School of Education has assembled information on GRAD HAT as a starting place for new teachers to find answers and to obtain assistance.
