NUR 303/SOC 303 End of Life Care Issues

Four classroom hours per week.
End of life issues for the terminally ill patient, family, and health care provider are examined in relationship to psychological, cultural, spiritual and ethical/legal issues. Hospice care roles and the concept of a "peaceful death" are explored.
