NURS 358 Pharmacology for Nursing Care

Prerequisites: NURS 338
Corequisites: NURS 316, NURS 323
Three classroom hours per week.
Essential knowledge of pharmacological principles is applied to the nursing process across the lifespan. The pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacotherapeutics for major drug classifications are explored. A major focus is on the nursing care of the person receiving drug therapy.
