Careers Center Goal
To help students and alumni develop a successful vocational
plan.
Students and alumni receive individualized career guidance in formulating
and
pursuing their career goals. From self-assessment, through career
exploration,
to devising the tools for an effective job search, personalized service
helps
meet the needs of each.
The center's libraries allow research into graduate and professional
schools
and businesses in the Delaware Valley and
across the nation. Internet
resources, computer
programs, video and audio tapes, and print material
complement
individual counseling to help students examine career options,
prepare
resumes, and learn job search techniques. Computer-assisted
guidance
through SIGI-PLUS helps orient even the most unfocused career
search.
Our Career Services Mentoring Network Web page enables networking
among
alumni and between alumni and current graduate and undergraduate students.
Now, parents and employers can join the network as mentors!
