Special Needs Accommodations
Holy Family University, in an effort to meet the needs of its graduating students and their families and friends, will provide special accommodations for the ceremony. These accommodations include reserved seating for persons with physical challenges or hearing impairments.
Preferred seating is available only to the graduate’s special need guest and the person who will assist and remain with the special need guest throughout the ceremony. All other guest tickets may not be necessarily next to or near the handicapped guest although every effort will be made to keep all guest seats together. Graduates should make requests for special needs seating on the Degree Candidate Response Form, which must be completed by Monday, March 18. Graduates with questions concerning tickets for guests who are physically challenged should contact Marilyn McCormac at (267) 341-3207.
The Academy of Music is
wheelchair accessible from the east lobby entrance on Broad Street. An accessible
entrance on the south side of the building also allows for direct entry to
the main lobby. Wheelchair accessible elevators serve all levels. Restrooms
are ADA-compliant and are available on all levels. Assisted listening devices
are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests in need of listening
devices should inquire with the house management upon arrival.
