
Who we are....
The Counseling Center consists of behavioral health professionals who can
assist you with short-term, individual and vocational counseling, relaxation
training, and referral assistance. We also serve as a resource to students
seeking help
for a friend, and for faculty and staff seeking information on how
to refer a student for assistance.

Diana
received both her master of arts in Psychology and doctorate degree in
Clinical and Health Psychology from MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia.
She received her bachelor of arts in Psychology from Temple University
and studied at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY, specializing in
child development psychology. She has experience working with university
students and expertise working in the mental health and substance abuse
prevention and treatment fields with young children, adolescents, young
adults, adults, and families.
Diana's theoretical orientation is influenced by cognitive behavioral
and psychodynamic approaches to counseling. She is a current member of
the American Psychological Association, PA College Counselor’s
Association, and Consortium of Small College Counseling Centers. Diana
has served as a member of various school and community-focused service
groups, including: Department of Health Bureau of Drug & Alcohol
Abuse Programs SAP Guideline Committee; Safe & Drug Free Schools
Program Evaluation Committee; Philadelphia County Children's Safety Initiative;
and NYC Taskforce Against Sexual Assault. She is a trained Behavioral
Health (MH/D&A) SAP assessor and Training for Intervention Procedures
(TIPS) alcohol misuse prevention trainer. Diana is also commissioned
as a catechist for St. Katherine of Siena parish and volunteers as a
soccer coach for the Philadelphia Department of Recreation and Archdiocese
CYO programs.
ZOE ANN GINGOLD, BS, Disability Coordinator

Zoe received her degree from the University of Delaware. She worked
for the US Department of Education for many years in the Office of Civil
Rights. Her experience includes knowledge of discrimination laws
with an expertise in disability services. At Holy Family, Zoe works
with students who are eligible to receive services under the Rehabilitation
Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Zoe
chairs the Holy Family University Disability Eligibility Committee and
periodically provides on-campus disability awareness, as well as harassment
and civil rights training for faculty and staff.
JESSICA LUTKENHOUSE, MA, Psychology Intern
Jessica
is a doctoral student studying Clinical Psychology at LaSalle University.
She received her master of arts in Clinical Psychology with a concentration
in Sport Psychology from LaSalle, and her bachelor of arts in Psychology
from Loyola College in Maryland. Jessica has experience working in a
counseling center setting and a specialized interest in performance-related
concerns among student athletes. Jessica's theoretical orientation is
integrative, but heavily influenced by cognitive-behavioral approaches. She
is a current member of the American Psychology Association, the Association
for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the Association for Applied
Sport Psychology.
JERRY MALONE, BS, Graduate Practicum Student
Jerry
is a master’s level graduate student studying Student Affairs/Higher
Education at Holy Family University — Newtown. He received
his bachelor’s
degree in Accounting from Widener University. Jerry worked as an
accountant for three years before changing his career path to counseling
psychology. He started out as a staff counselor at a local Residential
Treatment Facility where he worked with youth and young adults ranging
from 6-21 years of age. Currently, Jerry works as a staff counselor at
Woods Services located in Langhorne, PA. At Holy Family, Jerry provides
creative outlets and therapeutic support for students that live within
the residential treatment community. He is a current member of the American
Counseling Association.
