Residence Halls

Residence Halls
Holy Family provides three distinct residential-living experiences: a residence hall, two independent apartment-style living, and suite style living options.

All first-year resident students will be placed in St. Joseph Hall. After their first year, these students may choose to remain in St. Joseph Hall, or they can choose to live in the Garden Residence, or Stevenson Lane Residence, which is subject to availability.

St. Joseph Hall
Located at the center of campus just steps from the Campus Center, Holy Family Hall, and the Library, St. Joseph Hall offers double-occupancy rooms and communal bathrooms, plus three handicapped-accessible rooms with adjoining private baths. The four-story residence hall houses both male and female students separated by floor and contains a 24-hour computer lab, lounges, vending room, and a recreation room designed by students. A security desk monitors building access around the clock, and a residence-life professional staff lives in the building and supervises the hall's student resident advisors.

Each floor contains a kitchenette with range and sink and laundry machines in this building are free of charge to the residents. Each room provides individually controlled air conditioning and includes cable-television service and high-speed Internet access. Plus, wireless Internet access is available throughout the building.

Garden Residence
Located on the edge of campus is the Garden Residence, which holds approximately 45 students in apartment style living. There is a kitchen, two bathrooms, a living area and a washer and dryer in each unit. Apartments either have two double rooms, or one double room and two single rooms. Cable television service and high-speed Internet access are available. Limited parking is available to residents. This area is designated for upper-class students who would like some independence.

Stevenson Lane Residence
The new Stevenson Lane Residence offers suite-style living with well thought-out design and amenities in line with what students expect in contemporary campus housing.

Each unit serves up to four students and features two bedrooms, a bathroom with separate shower and sink facilities, and a small living room. Kitchenette and laundry rooms are provided on each floor. A quiet study room sits on one wing of each floor and on the opposite wing of each floor sits a student lounge offering a spectacular panoramic view of the campus and beyond.

The building's first floor also has a fitness room, game room, vending room, and a multipurpose room with ample meeting space. The building also features a health suite. Students use security swipe cards to access the building and gain entrance to their rooms. The building has a 24-hour security attendant and security cameras. Stevenson Residence accommodates 148 students within 67,430 square feet of space. It also offers four resident advisor suites, a suite for a residence life professional and 128 parking spaces.

Future plans could include two additional phases that would provide up to 112,580 square feet and house up to 358 students.
