Where to Find a Book or Journal

Use information from its catalog record to find a book or journal.

Status
The status line will tell you whether a book is available, checked out (charged), lost, on reserve, or has recently been ordered. Journals cannot be checked out.

Location
Check here to find out whether the Northeast Library or Newtown LRC has the book or journal.

Call Number
Write down the call number. It acts as the "address" of an item in the library. To find out which floor to go to in the Library you can:

• Use one of the blue and white library handouts that shows the call number range for each floor, or
• Ask at the Reference Desk
