United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
This assembly of Bishops works "to unify, coordinate, encourage, promote and carry on Catholic activities in the United States; to organize and conduct religious, charitable and social welfare work at home and abroad; to aid in education; to care for immigrants; and generally to enter into and promote by education, publication and direction the objects of its being." In addition to the Department of Education this site also includes links to The New American Bible and The Catechism of the Catholic Church.

This site, part of the United States Conference on Catholic Bishops site, is a “Catholic Call to Political Responsibility.” It provides resources to help Catholics learn, share, and grow in their faith within the larger context of society. Of particular note are the “Religious Education Resources” which provide selected lesson plans and ideas for educators.

Special Needs Resource Directory
Published by the United States Conference on Catholic Bishops’ Department of Education, this directory includes a wealth of information relating to the Catholic education of students with special needs. Of particular note is the “Curriculum Resources” which includes resources for religious education of students with special needs.
USCCB Department of Education
This department helps Catholic bishops “in their pastoral mission of teaching and promoting catechesis and education as a life-long process of total Catholic education that has, at its heart, evangelization.”
