Center for Academic Enhancement at Newtown
CAEThe Center for Academic Enhancement of Holy Family University supports students at all levels of achievement as they pursue their academic goals.  In so doing, the Center reaffirms the mission statement of the institution and strives to advance the attitude areas targeted by the University as integral to the curriculum:

  • Appreciation of cultural diversity
  • Respect for a living Christian faith and affirmation of the dignity of the human person
  • Appreciation for lifelong learning as displayed by openness to new ideas

The Center offers a complement of diverse services designed to support the liberal arts and professional education.  By strengthening the skills necessary for academic achievement, the Center seeks to maximize the academic experience of each student.  In order to realize success in its mission, it is crucial that the Center work in concert with faculty, academic administration, and all other academic services.

Below is a partial list of services offered by the Center:

  • Assistance with the entire writing process beginning with the outline, abstract, and research methodologies through to the completion of the final paper
  • General writing concepts, brainstorming, organization and writing strategies
  • Resume preparation for student teacher applications
  • APA & MLA style
  • Citations
