Learning Resource Center (LRC)
Located in Room 122, the Learning Resource Center/Library (LRC) is an extension of the Northeast Philadelphia Campus Library. Staffed by library professionals, the LRC meets the research, information, and technology/audiovisual needs of students and faculty at the Newtown location.
Staff members offer individualized research instruction as well as formal, in-depth research sessions. Instructors wishing to schedule an in-class session are encouraged to contact the LRC staff.
The LRC supports academic programs at Newtown through on-line research databases, print periodicals, books and other media. Special collections include children’s literature, curriculum materials, and an extensive collection of Counseling Psychology audio visual materials. Holdings are supplemented by intercampus and interlibrary loan services.
For the LRC hours, request forms, and additional information, go to the University’s Library Services web page, or call 267-341-4010.
