Activities
The
foundation of a residential-living experience is programming, which provides
opportunities to learn outside the classroom and to engage students in their
personal development. Working with the Director of Residence Life, student
resident advisors develop workshops and presentations covering four areas
of students' personal development: cultural, spiritual, moral, and wellness.
Just a sample of the programs at Holy Family: community-service projects; alcohol-awareness
education; faculty speakers; trips to museums and other cultural attractions;
and holiday caroling. Some activities are designed just for fun and camaraderie:
residence-hall Olympics; movie screenings; casino night; open-mic night; and
Philly pro-sports outings - including Holy Family's twice-per-year Phillies Night.
