Welcome to the Department of Natural Sciences and Math. The department is currently comprised of nine full-time faculty members who are committed to engaging our students in the scientific thought process. A number of degrees are offered here at Holy Family, exploring a wide range of concepts, while at the same time looking at issues around us, and how the scientific process can be used in order to resolve the issues and thereby better understand the world in which we live.
Our department is currently experiencing some exciting times, such as the recent acquisition of a Gas Chromatograph-Mass spectrometer (GC-MS) which will be used for teaching and research purposes. We have seen a growth in our full-time faculty, increasing the expertise in our department, and we are currently seeking to continue our expansion. Besides teaching we have in-house faculty who have their own research interests and ongoing projects (see Faculty and Staff) involving our current students. We hope that you will further explore our Web site to see what we have to offer.
