Internships
Our department has a long history of in-house and off-campus research internship experiences (two semesters) for our students. There are a number of host institutions where our previous students have undertaken their internships such as Fox Chase Cancer Center, University of Pennsylvania Dental School and Drexel University.
Currently, we have three professors with active research projects, Dr. Kishore Bagga, Dr. Robert Cordero and Dr. Stanley Mauldin. Recently, their students presented their work in the form of poster presentations at the 22nd National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR22), which was held at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. A number of research experiences have resulted in published material in peer-reviewed journals, along with the student as the author and main presenter. Besides NCUR22, the students also get an opportunity to present their work at Saint Joseph’s University’s annual student research poster symposium, at the annual research day at Holy Family University and the American Chemical Society regional meetings.
The following are some photographs of those who presented at NCUR22.
