A Committed, Experienced Faculty
Faculty members in the School of
Nursing and Allied Health Professions
are committed teachers, experienced
practitioners, community leaders, and
distinguished scholars. More than half
of our nursing instructors are doctorally
prepared—a distinction that exceeds
national standards set by a professional
nursing accrediting agency. All together,
our radiologic science instructors bring
more than 70 years of teaching
experience to the classroom—and more
than that as radiology professionals.
In addition to their contributions on
campus, many of our professors hold
leadership positions in prominent
professional organizations, including
the Southeastern Pennsylvania League
of Nursing, Health Ministries
Association, and the Pennsylvania
Higher Education Nursing Schools
Association. Several faculty members
serve on national accrediting
evaluation teams for certifying other
university nursing programs, and
other faculty members volunteer or
serve on boards of nonprofit groups in our community, such as the American Red Cross and Boy Scouts of America.
