James Trusdell Named Vice President

James E. Trusdell, MBA, will join Holy Family University on November 25, 2013 as Vice President for Finance and Administration.

Trusdell comes to Holy Family from Temple University's School of Medicine, where he was Assistant Dean and Chief Financial Officer. He also held the positions at Temple University of Associate Dean for Finance/Chief of Staff for the College of Health Professions and Social Work and Director for Finance and Administration for the School of Dentistry.

Before transitioning to higher education, Trusdell was Assistant Vice President for Cost and Budget for Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, Assistant Vice President for Operations and Controller for CIGNA Corporation's Integrated Care and Managed Disability Divisions, and Senior Financial Analyst with CIGNA's Property and Casualty Division.

Trusdell holds an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from St. Joseph's University and a BS in Accounting from Philadelphia University.

In his new role with Holy Family, Trusdell will be responsible for financial management, purchasing, information technology, human resources, facilities, maintenance, and auxiliary services, and he will serve as a member of the University's senior administration.
