The Holy Family University Art Gallery presents “Revelations of the Unconscious Mind,” paintings by senior Stephanie Koszarek. The senior student art exhibit opens on Thursday, April 4, and runs through April 14. An opening reception and meet and greet with the artist will take place on Tuesday, April 9, from 6–8 pm.
The subject matter displayed involves pieces, symbols, and emotions experienced through Koszarek’s dreams. She believes there are many common themes, symbols, and imagery that appear in her dreams that can hold a collective or shared meaning for all people.
The University Art Gallery is located on the Lower Level of the Education & Technology Center on the University’s Northeast Philadelphia campus. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
