Holy Family University is offering continuing education workshops for licensed professionals and other community mental health and social service providers during the 2014-2015 school year. The first of these eight workshops takes place on Friday, October 17, from 9 am - 4 pm at the University's Bensalem location.
Dr. Jackson Tay Bosley will present "Treatment with Sex Offenders." The full-day workshop for mental health providers, criminal justice workers, social service workers, and graduate students will provide an overview of the issues specific to working with sex offenders led by Nationally known expert Jackson Tay Bosley. In the afternoon, breakout sessions will focus on issues of working with victims of sexual abuse and assault, and working with juvenile sexual offenders. This symposium will be the formal Kick-off of the Correctional Counseling concentration within the Counseling Psychology graduate program.
