2016 Charter Week Celebration Highlighted by University Day of Service

Holy Family University’s 2016 Charter Week Celebration will be held on Monday, February 8—highlighted by a University Day of Service at the conclusion of the weeklong event.

On Monday, February 8, Holy Family University will open the celebration with its 61st Anniversary Mass, officiated by Rev. James MacNew, DMin. The Mass will take place in the Campus Center, Lower Lobby. An Anniversary Cake ceremony will be held at 1:45 pm later that day in the Campus Center Dining Commons. All members of the University are welcome to attend, as cake and coffee will be served.

On Tuesday, February 9 at 1 pm, the University will hold its Faculty and Staff Longevity Recognition Awards in the Campus Center, Lower Lobby.

On Thursday, February 11 at 4 pm, the University will hold its Mission Core Value Awards Ceremony, honoring the students who best exhibit the Mission Core Values of Holy Family. Honorees and invited guests are to join us in the Campus Center, Lower Lobby.

Later that night, at 7 pm, the University will screen Urban Trinity: The Story of Catholic Philadelphia. This documentary viewing is free and open to the University and local community. Those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP to preed@holyfamily.edu.

Finally, on Friday, February 12, Holy Family will participate in a University Day of Service. With activities planned for Habitat for Humanity, Feast of Justice, and a food drive for Philabundance, the event is not to be missed.
