Why the Residence-Life Experience?
Knowledge is the heart of a college education. But not all of life's lessons can be found in a textbook, and as a University student, you’ll spend as much as 90 percent of your time outside the classroom. Many of the adaptive and social skills critical in preparing you to succeed in a diverse, ever-changing world can be gained only through personal interaction, and choosing to live in residence is an ideal environment. Through your daily contact with students, faculty members, and our student-life staff, you’ll explore new ideas. Living in residence is one way to bridge the experience of moving out of your family home, and learning how to work with others. Get the most from your campus years.
