Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice
The School of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice with a start date of August, 2023.
This faculty member will be responsible to teach in the criminal justice core curriculum at the undergraduate level as well as more advanced teaching and research with an emphasis on cybersecurity, homeland security, and/or other related areas.
All employees must understand the mission of Catholic higher education and be committed to the core values, mission, goals and objectives of Holy Family University.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Teaching at the undergraduate level in the Criminal Justice program;
- Establishing a record of research and publication;
- Advising students; participating in curriculum design;
- Participates in the development and evaluation of the Criminal Justice program, and providing service to the university.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or related field is required
- Excellent teaching skills, an active scholarly agenda, and a willingness to participate in student advising and campus service.
