Assistant Professor of Education

The School of Education invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Education with a start date of August 2022.

This faculty member will be responsible to teach doctoral and master’s level courses in Educational Leadership.  Experience in Urban Education, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, or Social and Emotional Wellness is preferred.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to teach courses in educational leadership, instructional technology, or other education-related disciplines is desirable.  
  • Additional responsibilities include supporting the School’s emerging field placement partnership model, by serving on doctoral dissertation committees, and providing consultation to faculty and doctoral students on projects related to the areas listed above.


The successful candidate will hold an earned doctorate in an education-related field appropriate for the teaching, scholarship and service responsibilities described above.
