School of Business & Professional Studies Adjunct Lecturer Sports Marketing and Management

The School of Business and Professional Studies seeks applications to fill an immediate need for an adjunct professor in our Sports Marketing-Management program.  The course is a fully online asynchronous format.

Responsibilities 

  • Essential tasks of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Teaching of courses in their assigned disciplines.
  • Maintaining academic excellence in their classrooms and online course shells.
  • Providing grades and feedback to students in a timely fashion.
  • Using appropriate technology, including Canvas and CRM, to teach synchronous remote classes and/or staggered face to face classes.

Qualifications

The successful applicant must hold an earned academic degree (doctoral or master’s level) in the discipline or a related field appropriate for the contracted teaching responsibilities.   Candidates with a master’s degree and extensive professional experience in the field of sports leadership, marketing, and/or management are also encouraged to apply.  Prior experience in modifying, teaching, and development of online asynchronous courses required.
