Project Coordinator - Violence Against Women (OVW) Campus Grant
The Project Coordinator is a 3-year term, grant funded, exempt position within the Division of Student Life. The Coordinator will be responsible for administering the Department of Justice Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) Campus Grant to reduce sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking on campus. The Coordinator will serve as point of contact for the OVW Grant from the Department of Justice and manage implementation of grant programs and activities, grant reports and assessments, OVW correspondences, and budget management.
The Project Coordinator will have responsibility for ensuring the development and implementation of statutory and other program requirements, as well as coordinating and managing all grant-related activities. They will have primary responsibility for building and/or strengthening collaborative relationships with the internal and external stakeholders supporting and advancing the project objectives through Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) and for directing timelines and tracking progress towards project completion.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with the designated technical assistance providers throughout the development and implementation phases of the grant and participate in a mandatory New Grantee Orientation, along with other training institutes provided by the grant. Position continuation is contingent on receipt of future grant funding.
Essential Functions

- Ensure grant activities and requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Interpret and apply program rules and regulations, deliver education and outreach, provide budget management, and demonstrate comprehension of prevention efforts and programmatic objectives.
- Serve as the lead for the project implementation plan including tracking activities, progress, deadlines, and deliverables to inform and update the plan.
- Build collaborative relationships with the internal and external stakeholders supporting and advancing the project objectives through developed and designed Memoranda of Understanding (MOU).
- Provide a monthly status update report to the OVW grant team and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and hold quarterly Coordinated Community Response (CCR) Team meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversight of day-to-day grant activities including administration of electronic grant management system, development of detailed task lists, assistance with budget reconciliation, compilation of reports, and data collection and reporting.
- Maintain communication with Holy Family University Grant team and external stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
- Track all culturally responsive sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and harassment education.
- Coordinate and present customized programs and workshops for diverse students, staff, and faculty. Develop new programs, workshops and trainings, as aligned with OVW grant program deliverables.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns to promote campus-wide violence prevention and response initiatives.
- Manage and oversee program budgets. Produce quarterly and biannual reports to federal and state funding agencies, as directed.
- Work closely with the designated technical assistance providers throughout the development and implementation phases of the grant.
- Participate in mandatory New Grantee Orientation, along with other training institutes required by the OVW Campus Grant Program.
- Work collaboratively with the Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Title IX Coordinator in design, development and dissemination of programming calendars and training and curriculum design.
- Work closely with the Campus Grant Program Project Supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and experience working with grant reporting and/or grant program over site.
- Knowledge of the Department of Justice – Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) Campus Grants Program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two (2) years related experience with victim services, sexual violence prevention projects and/or related programs.
- Experience in implementing comprehensive policies and protocols within a college and/or university setting.
- Experience with project management, including overseeing projects through the planning and implementation phases.
- Experience in the development of training workshops, programming initiatives, and curriculum design.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
