Adjunct Instructors - Economics

The School of Business and Professional Studies seeks applications from potential adjunct instructors for Fall 2022 courses in undergraduate level Microeconomics.  The course is scheduled to meet MWF from 10:30 – 11:30 AM from August 29 – December 18, 2022 on Holy Family’s Northeast Philadelphia Campus.  Qualified candidates interested in teaching multiple sections of the course can inquire regarding the opportunity if interested.

Responsibilities 

Essential tasks of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Teaching of courses in their assigned disciplines.
  • Maintaining academic excellence in their classrooms.
  • Providing grades and feedback to students in a timely fashion.
  • Using appropriate technology, including Canvas and CRM, to teach synchronous remote classes and/or staggered face to face classes.

Qualifications

The successful applicant must hold an earned academic degree (doctoral or masters level) in the discipline or a related field appropriate for the contracted teaching responsibilities.   Candidates with a masters degree and extensive professional experience in the field of economics are also encouraged to apply.
