Homecoming Frequently Asked Questions

Only for the Alumni events - the Alumni Breakfast with the Board, the Alumni Beer Garden and the Athletics Alumni Event. All other activities and events at Homecoming are family-friendly and are open to the entire community. Information about the requirements and limitations for the Alumni Beer Garden and the Alumni Athletics Event are below.

Registration is quick and easy. Go to the main registration site at https://www.holyfamily.edu/homecoming/register.

*NOTE: Due to high volume, all Holy Family Students, Family, Friends or Community Members will be redirected to register through Eventbrite. All Holy Family Alumni, Faculty, and Staff will still be able to register through this main holyfamily.edu website.

In the event of a cancellation, any fees paid in advance would be eligible for a refund.

Parking is available in the Campus Center lot (entrance on Stevenson lane). A number of resources are available for families and guests with special needs, including a limited number of handicap spaces and shuttles from the main parking area. Our trained staff will be able to instruct you and provide options when you arrive. If you have any questions or concerns about special accommodations, please contact alumni@holyfamily.edu.

SEPTA Route 66 and Route 84 buses both have stops at Frankford and Grant Avenues. The SEPTA regional rail Trenton line stops at the Torresdale Station (Grant Avenue and State Road). This is within walking distance of the University.

We invite you to bring your own chairs or picnic blankets to the event! There are plenty of grassy areas to sit down, enjoy your food purchases, and cheer on the Holy Family Tigers!

The afternoon festivities will be located in the parking lot near the Stevenson Lane Residence dormitory and the adjacent soccer fields. Mass and the volleyball game will be held inside the Campus Center. The Athletics Alumni Event will be held at Chickie's and Pete's on Roosevelt Boulevard. Holy Family University's Alumni Association invites all alumni to reconnect with friends and fellow classmates the Alumni Beer Garden at Homecoming 2018! Alumni can purchase one ticket for themselves and one for a non-alumni guest at https://www.holyfamily.edu/homecoming.Attendees will receive a maximum of two beers each as well as a commemorative Homecoming mug.

No physical tickets are required, all registered names will be verified by the Alumni Office and listed with security at the entrance of the Alumni Beer Garden. At check-in, each attendee must be able to show a government-issued ID (driver's license, state photo identity card, or passport) to verify that he or she is 21 years of age or older. Students, guests under 21, children, and those without proper identification will not be permitted access to the beer garden.

Holy Family University's Athletics Office invites all former athletes to end the day's celebration with a buffet reception and cash bar at Chickie's and Pete's on Roosevelt Boulevard. Admission will be free for the first 75 Alumni Athletes who also register for Homecoming and/or the Alumni Beer Garden. (Must check -in at Homecoming to pick-up free ticket). Tickets for guests and for those paying at the door cost$ 25 per person.
