Going through the FSPS program at Holy Family gave me the confidence in my abilities to reach for that next level in my career. I utilize knowledge learned in courses such as Major Incident and Public Risk Analysis on an almost daily basis. I'm proud to be a Holy Family Alumni above all!

After graduating Holy Family University, my goal was to become a career firefighter. During the panel interview for a firefighter position with the Virginia Beach Fire Department, I proudly mentioned my degree in Fire Science and Public Safety Administration from Holy Family University. I know for a fact that my degree from Holy Family University played an important role in my selection. Today more than ever, a degree is needed for advancement in the fire service and I believe my degree provided me with knowledge I need for a successful career and for graduate school.
