Campus Recreation Programs

SEO strives to enrich the mind, body, and spirit of our students. This is accomplished by providing the programs, services, and facilities necessary to cultivate personal growth (physical, social, recreation, and education) for all members of our campus community. In conjunction with the HFU Athletics Department and the Wellness Services offices on campus, we team up to provide many of the following services to our students.

Club Sports: Club Sports provide students the opportunity to participate in competitive, non-varsity athletics through the Student Engagement Office. Club Sports conduct recruitment on a consistent basis and are always looking for interested students to join. Participants of Club Sports are required to complete a waiver and have a physical on file with the University prior to participation in practices or competition. Learn more about our five (5) Club Sports on our Club Sports page.

Fitness Center: Holy Family offers facilities not just for our Division II Varsity Teams, but also for everyone on campus whether you are a student, faculty, or staff member. Please note that our facilities are currently closed to the HFU Community due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more about the Fitness Center by visiting the Fitness Center webpage. The Fitness Center is monitored and maintained by the Athletics Department and interested parties are encouraged to contact the Athletics Department with questions.

Intramurals: A subcommittee of the Campus Activities Board, intramurals are a great way to engage in fun, friendly competition with fellow Holy Family students. Historically our intramurals program has consisted of Flag Football, 3 v 3 Indoor Basketball, and Volleyball. We are looking to revamp our Intramurals program and are seeking students that are interested in creating a vibrant intramural community at Holy Family.

Wellness Services: An additional component to encouraging our students’ holistic development is providing resources to help with all facets of life outside of the classroom. Students are encouraged to explore the available resources provided by our Wellness Services offices: Counseling Services, The Office of disAbility Services, Health Services, Title-IX, and The Office of Equity & Inclusion.
