We're Excited to Welcome You to Our Campus!
Now that you have applied for housing and made your deposit for the 2018-2019 school year here at Holy Family University, you are one step closer to moving in!
You may have some questions about housing, roommates, move-in, etc. and we will do our best to answer some here. Formal emails with details and roommate information go out the last week of July/first week of August. Check out our orientation website with a brief “what to bring and what not to bring” section.
Move-in day is Sunday, August 26, 2018, for all students and takes place from 9:00 am - Noon. If you’re an early arrival athlete, your information on check-in will come later in the summer. First, you check-in at the Campus Center, fill out paperwork, get card access, etc. and then you will drive over to St. Joseph’s Hall where you can unload. We will have student leaders ready to assist you with unpacking your vehicle at St. Joseph’s Hall! Then, enjoy fun activities and events throughout the rest of the day! Transfer students will be moving into Stevenson Lane Residence, but the process is the same.
Please make sure you confirm PRIOR to move–in with the Business Office that you are cleared for move-in. Students with holds or outstanding balances are not permitted to move into the halls.
We will have representatives from the Help Desk available for ID issues, computer help, etc. on move-in day. If you have questions ahead of time, contact the Help Desk: 267-341-3402.
We also encourage you to sign up for an Orientation Day! This will help you familiarize yourself even more with our campus and check out our resources! First-Year Orientation days this summer are: July 22, July 13, and August 10, 2018. Transfer Orientation days this summer are: July 20 and August 17, 2018.
Barnes and Nobles will be sending information home and will have a table at orientation with information on purchasing linens and other items for your room. Contact our Bookstore for more information on this program at 267-341-3657.
Please make sure you are using your Holy Family email and get that setup, as it is the official way the University communicates with its students. The Holy Family email account information is sent to your home in a letter from the Registrar’s Office. If you haven’t received that yet, it may be on its way. All following correspondence from our office will be sent to your Holy Family email address.
