Holy Family University looks forward to welcoming students for the Fall 2021 term!
Our top priority is ensuring the health and safety of the University community. The Fall 2021 COVID-19 Response Guidelines will be available shortly. These guidelines were developed in accordance with guidelines and protocols from the CDC, the Commonwealth of PA, and the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Public Health.
Please be aware of all safety protocols in place throughout the campus. It will be essential for everyone at the University to read this in advance of coming to campus. Among the most important elements are:
The University continues to monitor events and follow the guidelines of the CDC, and State and local health agencies. At this time, we are not requiring the return of an indoor masking policy, though we are following the City's recommendation that masks be worn indoors. A mandated mask policy may be reinstated at the start of the fall semester, regardless of whether or not you have been vaccinated.
As a result of rising levels of cases, and like many of our peer institutions throughout the state, the University will now require that all faculty, staff, and students are vaccinated by the start of the fall semester. We will require proof of a first shot for the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or proof of the one-shot Johnson & Johnson's vaccine by the beginning of the term.We believe strongly that this action is necessary and aligns with our mission of caring for one another and putting family first.
