Research Interests
I am currently engaged in writing and researching optimal environments on how students learn through curriculum that is based on literacy objectives. Through research I am attempting to improve teaching methodologies by adding real world experiences (literacy) to all course work.

I have 27 years of business experience in healthcare administration, working my way up from registration to customer service, through several management levels culminating as an Executive Director for an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Most of my experience is focused on the optimal environment and strategies for business success, developed through hands on experience in billing, finance, and managing the profitability of large scale business operation in Northeast Philadelphia. Personally, I believe in work life balance and am very involved as the grandmother who loves to have fun!
