Teaching Focus/Philosophy

As a nurse educator, I want students to be successful to achieve their educational goals. To assist students, my effort as an educator is to guide, direct and facilitate learning to help students understand and apply the meaning of concepts, how the learning impacts their thinking and how this will impact lifelong learning. Professional nursing practice requires a commitment to continued knowledge development and an investment to become oriented to the future health needs of society.
