Teaching Focus/Philosophy

Teaching is both an art and science where the learner is an active participant. The learning is extended beyond the classroom as the student continues to grow professionally and personally. It is my commitment to instill in students a passion for lifelong learning as nursing is continually evolving as evidence-based practice develops. I consider it to be a privilege and honor to be a nursing educator and to shape future nurses in becoming valuable contributors to the nursing profession and to society.
