Diane (Procopio) Voghel ’69 has moved to Ann’s Choice Senior Community in Warminster, PA. She is extremely proud of her grandson who is studying Infectious Disease at Yale University Graduate School of Public Health and her granddaughter who is studying Psychology at Thomas Jefferson University.

Kathy (Papst) Meyers ’73 is pleased to announce her first grandchild - Alastair James – who was born in January 2022. Alastair and his parents, Patrick and Meghan (Meyers) Regan ’11, live in Frederick, MD.

Susan Apold ’79, Ph.D., a 2009 recipient of Holy Family's Distinguished Nursing Alumni Award, has been appointed as Dean of the School of Nursing at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Bronx, NY.

Richard O'Neill ’81 is a Federal Contractor currently working as an Acquisitions Analyst supporting the Army, Department of Defense, National Command Authority, and some international partners. He resides in Fort Belvoir, VA.

JoAnne Reifsnyder ’85, Ph.D., MSN, MBA, FAAN, was named an Honoree by the Fund for Women and Girls (West Chester) for her efforts to support and uplift women in nursing and healthcare fields. She was recognized at the Champions of Change Event in October 2021. Joanne works as the Executive Vice President, Clinical Operations, and Chief Nursing Officer at Genesis HealthCare. Christine (Thomsen) Lynch ’91 is a School Nurse at Thomas Holme Elementary School within the School District of Philadelphia. Her daughter, Abigail, is a sophomore nursing student at Holy Family.

Karen (Carpino) Madden M’97 was recognized by Marquis Who’s Who for Excellence in Education. Karen has been an educator for over 30 years and works as a reading teacher at Brookwood Elementary School within Bristol Township School District.

Dan August ’98, M’06 co-authored the satirical fantasy novel On the Road to Knowhere, the first in planned series titled Requiem After Dark. Dan has been teaching senior honors and AP English for over 20 years.

Patricia (Boyce) Rooney M’01 has been appointed principal of Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School in Drexel Hill, PA.

Lisette Agosto Cintron M’02, Ed.D.’20 has been chosen as a 2022 AL DÍA Women of Merit. Lisette serves as a principal within the School District of Philadelphia and an adjunct professor at Harcum College.

Joe Gable ’03, Esq., wrote an article about the New Jersey Insurance Fair Conduct Act, which was published in The National Law Review. Joe is an attorney within the Accident & Personal Injury Group at Stark and Stark in Marlton, NJ. 

Rachel (McClain) Riley ’04 has been promoted to Associate Vice President of Communications at Valley Forge Travel and Convention Board. A former award-winning multimedia journalist, she was named one of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2021 40 Under 40, and PR News’ Top Women in PR.

Jeff Davis M’06 accepted a new position as General Manager of Lake Compounce Amusement Park in Bristol, CT.

Andrew Ostroff M’07 is a Preschool Lead Teacher at Soans Christian Academy. He and his wife, Stephanie, live in Southampton, PA.

Nancy (Yoder) Schaffer ’12 published her second book, Her Story in His-Story in September 2021. Her first book, Guard the Fort was published in 2019.

Dr. Shaikha BuAli M’12, a Principal at PA Virtual Charter School, was selected to appear in Marquis Who's Who biographical listee for 2021-2022. She completed her doctorate in August 2020 and is married to David E. Brown M’12.

Jeanette Einspahr ’16, Ph.D. candidate at Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine, has been selected to receive a Fellowship from the American Heart Association to continue her cardiovascular research. Julie Brylinski ’17 was featured in Holy Family’s Art Gallery. Her exhibit Asleep in the Deep was on display in November 2021.

Kate McCarty ’17 (TBD), Advancement Director at St. Charles Borromeo School in Bensalem, PA was awarded an Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools’ Technology Influencer Award in October 2021 for her success in growing the school’s online presence since her hire in 2019. 

Julia Porter ’17, a Pool RN within Cooper Health system, published an article, “Reflections: Guardian Angels” in Cooper’s Bridges publication. 

Andrew Palagruto ’18, Andrew Weicker ’18, and former Holy Family University instructor Brian Michael recently published The Philadelphia Eagles: Images of Sports, a book of photographs documenting the history of Philadelphia football.
Ruqiyya Greer M’19 wrote about her experience as a trauma nurse in The Philadelphia Inquirer. Her article, “A trauma nurse’s letter to a Philly shooter”, was published in November 2021.

Rebecca (Noll) Butler M’21 married Thomas Butler in May 2021 near Scranton, PA.

Sandra Gonzalez D’21 was honored with a 2021 Powerful Latina Award by latinaslifestyle.org for her extraordinary work in Education. Dr. Gonzalez is the Principal at Antonia Pantoja Charter School, a dual-language public school that serves over 700 students.
