Holy Family University inducted five new members to the Athletics Hall of Fame during Homecoming weekend at the Buck Hotel in front of members of the campus community, family, friends, and alumni.

The Class of 2021 included, Erik Henrysen ’99 (Men’s Basketball), Matthew Gamble ’03 (Men’s Soccer), Melissa Zebley ’04 (Softball), Kelly Killion ’08 (Women’s Basketball). and former head coach Joe Mikolajewski (Women’s Soccer).

Nearly 140 guests were on hand for this year’s induction ceremony. The event began with a cocktail reception allowing guests to mingle and socialize before the formal induction and dinner portion of the evening.

“It was an amazing evening highlighting the careers of five individuals that made a huge impact at Holy Family not only on the field and on the court but also in the classroom and community,” said Tim Hamill ’04, M’08, director of Athletics. “It was great listening to the inductees share stories from yesteryear of their time at Holy Family and how much of an influence the University had on their lives. It was truly an honor to induct Erik, Matthew, Melissa, Kelly, and Joe into the Holy Family Athletics Hall of Fame as members of the Class of 2021.”

The Holy Family Athletics Hall of Fame was founded in 2009 with the inaugural class to honor those former Holy Family student-athletes, coaches, and administrators who have exhibited high moral character as defined in the University’s Mission Statement and Core Values. The next class will be inducted in 2023.
