Meet the Director

Mark Campbell is an experienced learning technology professional with more than 15 years of experience leading online education initiatives in higher education. He specializes in online course development, instructional design, and the strategic use of learning technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
At Holy Family University, Mark oversees the institution’s online learning ecosystem and serves as the Canvas Learning Management System Administrator. He guides the development of high-quality online and hybrid courses, ensuring adherence to Quality Matters and NC-SARA standards. Mark collaborates closely with faculty, academic leaders, and IT teams to improve instructor-student engagement, streamline digital learning processes, and support the university’s long-term online learning strategy.
He has extensive experience building online course templates, designing faculty certification programs, leading LMS integrations, and facilitating professional development that empowers instructors to teach effectively in digital environments. Before his work at Holy Family University, he held leadership and instructional design positions at Chestnut Hill College, Temple University, and Drexel University, where he managed large-scale online programs, course development cycles, and campus-wide quality initiatives.
Mark holds a Master’s Degree in Education, Training, and Instructional Technology and is certified in Quality Matters peer review and several instructional design frameworks. He also serves on multiple university committees focused on online learning, academic technology, governance, and the future of AI in higher education.
