| Job Description: | The peer tutor works in person only in Tiger Tutoring on the 2nd floor of the Library. Assists students at various content levels of assigned discipline; when appropriate, explains research strategies and documentation; assigns computer drills and self tutorials, other practice exercises, and Internet searches as needed; assists students in completion and review of class assignments; assists students in preparing for exams; assists students in finding, understanding, and using computer and Internet-based instructional resources and aids; performs related duties as assigned; periodic preparation and presentation of relevant workshops, individually or as part of a presenting team. Students interested should contact the Director, and will be provided a link to the Peer Tutor Application, which will provide details application requirements. Training provided. |
