Holy Family University Grows in Bucks County

Holy Family is expanding its offerings across Bucks County, Northeast Philadelphia, and the surrounding communities. The University’s two Newtown, Pennsylvania, campuses offer a mix of undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs that serve students at every stage of their academic and professional journeys.

This growth reflects the University’s commitment to delivering accessible, values-based education that prepares students in Philadelphia and Bucks County to meet today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.

The Newtown East and Newtown West campuses make it easy for students across the greater Philadelphia region to access Holy Family’s educational offerings in a more connected, commuter-friendly experience. Newtown East is open now, and Newtown West, located approximately a mile away, will open in phases in 2026. 

Flexible Learning Options

Holy Family University offers in-person and online classes. Evening, hybrid, and weekend course formats serve the needs of commuters, working professionals, full-time students, and adult learners.

A Broader Vision

This expansion is just one part of Holy Family’s vision to become a regional hub for education and innovation. The university is already fueling job creation and boosting economic and social mobility across the region, and in 2023, Holy Family received a $1.5 million state grant to support site improvements and development—highlighting the significance of these campuses to the region’s future.

As a Catholic university based in Philadelphia, Holy Family remains rooted in the values of faith, family, and service. The Newtown campuses bring that mission closer to home for students just starting college, returning to finish a degree, or advancing their careers through graduate study.

Academic programs are already underway and will continue to expand with the completion of the Newtown West campus in 2026. More details about degree offerings, faculty, and community partnerships will be announced.
