Professional Week March 11-15

The Holy Family University Center for Internships and Career Services (CICS) will host Professional Week March 11-15 on the University’s Northeast Philadelphia campus (9801 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114), providing current students with strategies for crafting first-rate resumes and perfecting personal branding, tips for shining during the interview , and advice for effective networking.  The week will culminate with a career fair that will showcase a broad spectrum of career possibilities.

“We have designed these workshops with the goal of helping our students to become the most professional version of themselves, said Brett Fucci, CICS Interim Administrator.  “We are pleased to be able to bring these important career development, networking opportunities, resources, and tools directly to our students and are especially excited to welcome the input of two of our alumni in these workshops.”

Karen is in the people business and passionate about helping professionals find great opportunities and thrive at work. As a Senior Leader in Human Resources, she has more than 20 years of experience in leadership and people development and enjoys sharing her experiences with others. Her background includes supporting both the private and non-profit sectors in industries such as commercial real estate, finance, healthcare and education. Karen has more than 10 years of experience teaching "professional development strategies" at Temple University Fox School of Business.

Karen received both bachelors and masters degrees from Holy Family University. She currently serves as a member of the President's Advisory Council and is a former member the School of Business Advisory Board and the Alumni Association Board.
