Holy Family University alumnus Joseph Golden was named a 2023 CFO of the Year honoree by the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Holy Family University alumnus Joseph Golden, who received his MBA from Holy Family University in 2006, was named a 2023 CFO of the Year honoree by the Philadelphia Business Journal.

One of just 22 recipients recognized for their financial prowess across a range of industries, Golden is the Chief Financial Officer of PrimoHoagies. Golden helped the Westville, NJ-based sandwich chain franchise open its 100th location earlier this year. With a goal of expanding the chain by another 80 stores by the end of 2024, Golden has worked with the PrimoHoagies marketing and development teams to grow revenue from $68 million in 2021 to more than $80 million last year.

In addition to overseeing the franchise's noteworthy growth, Golden successfully navigated franchisor audit requirements and introduced a new point-of-sale program.
