Holy Family University Celebrates Class of 2022 Commencement Ceremonies on May 21
Ceremonies will be held at the Newtown campus location.
Holy Family University will celebrate graduates with commencement ceremonies at the undergraduate and graduate levels on Saturday, May 21, 2022. This year's Commencement ceremonies will recognize the Class of 2022, consisting of 394 graduate and doctoral level students and 564 undergraduate level students. The graduating doctoral level students include:
- 4 students receiving Doctor of Psychology in Counseling Psychology (Psy.D.), the University’s first graduating cohort to be awarded this degree.
- 11 students receiving Doctor of Education Leadership and Professional Students (Ed.D.)
- 21 students receiving Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Honorary degrees will be conferred upon Carol Taylor ’75, Ph.D., MSN, RN, FAAN, professor of Medicine and Nursing and a senior clinical scholar at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University; Reverend Luis Cortés, Jr., founder and CEO of Esperanza, a leading Hispanic faith-based Evangelical network in the United States; and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, J.D., President of Ukraine (degree awarded in absentia).

Prisco, Ph.D., President of Holy Family University. “Our graduates brilliantly confronted the challenges over these past several years and thrived. We are entering the post-pandemic period and our graduates are well-prepared to address the evolving needs of our communities. We look forward to continuing our journey with them as the newest members of our alumni family.”
All ceremonies will be held outdoors under a tent at the Newtown campus location and all in-person ceremonies will be livestreamed. Details are as follows:
