Pennsylvania Grant Will Create State-of-the-Art Addition to Holy Family Hall
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has awarded $750,000 to Holy Family University to integrate audiovisual technology throughout its planned addition to Holy Family Hall. The expansion project, which is part of the University's Bold Vision Campaign, reimagines the university's iconic original building as the heart of the modern campus, featuring gathering spaces, a conference center, and a student-services hub.
With this funding from the Pennsylvania Local Share Account, Holy Family will bring the institution's mission to life for every visitor who walks through its doors. Audiovisual technology will enable flexible programming throughout the facility, from intimate admissions conversations to large community gatherings, and showcase student achievements, campus life, and institutional milestones. Construction is expected to be completed in the 2026-2027 academic year.
The funding was obtained with the assistance of state Representative Pat Gallagher and state Senator Joe Picozzi, with support from Philadelphia Councilmember Mike Driscoll.
"We're grateful for the continued support of our elected officials," says Anne Prisco, Ph.D., Holy Family University president. "This grant will allow us to modernize the building where Holy Family University started and create a state-of-the-art conference center for our community."
“Holy Family University contributes very much to our community, and I am glad to see them being awarded this well-deserved state funding,” Representative Gallagher says.
