Following a national search, Holy Family University is pleased to announce the appointment of Illana R. Lane, Ph.D. as Vice President for Academic Affairs, effective June 1, 2022.

Holy Family University is a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. On Monday, December 13, Pope Francis approved the decree on the heroic virtues of Sister Maria Małgorzata Banaś of the Heart of Jesus in Agony in the Garden (1896-1966) of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
On December 3, Kristin Sagedy Ph.D., MSN, RN, CEN, assistant dean and assistant professor at the School of Nursing & Health Sciences at Holy Family University, presented her research at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Transform 2021 Conference in Dallas, Texas during the podium abstracts session.

The School of Education at Holy Family University is currently offering tuition support for students who work in licensed childcare facilities entering or currently in the Early Childhood Education Pathway Program, an opportunity to earn a PreK-4 or PreK-4/Special Ed bachelor’s degree and Pennsylvania teaching certification in a format that meets the needs of busy working professionals.
Holy Family’s University Archives spans more than 50 years of the University’s history. Some of its collection includes records on the physical campus and grounds; faculty, student, alumni, and family and friends organizations; student life from its earliest years; the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth; and a wide range of individuals associated with the university.
Jinsy Mathew, DNP, MSN, RN, associate dean and assistant professor at Holy Family University’s School of Nursing & Health Sciences, can truly speak from experience when it comes to the value of a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Holy Family. Dr. Mathew graduated from the program in 2020, and shortly before the start of the fall 2021 semester became DNP Team Lead at the School of Nursing & Health Sciences, responsible for overseeing the same program that she graduated from.
Holy Family University is pleased to announce the appointment of C. William (Bill) Moffitt and Roshan Pulimkalayil ’16 M’18 to its Board of Trustees. These new members will participate in their first Board meeting later this month.
An alumnus of Holy Family University has recently co-authored a fantasy novel that exaggerates and pokes fun at the over-serious tone that most of the genre’s books are known for.
