The U.S. government’s cyber workforce has grown by approximately 8 percent since 2016, but still has more than 35,000 cybersecurity jobs to fill.
The Bachelor of Arts degree in Cybersecurity and IT Management program provides students with skills in relation to a wide range of Cybersecurity challenges.
The Cybersecurity and IT Management major differs from the Cybersecurity Administration major in that it includes additional enrichment of the Information Technology courses required to prepare students for the CompTIA A+ exam, an industry-standard exam for careers in IT. The Cybersecurity and IT Management major will also prepare students to sit for the Certified Computer Forensics Examiner (CCFE), Certified Ethical Hacker Exam (CEH), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification exams.
