Exercise Science, B.S. — Course Requirements
Our curriculum prepares graduates to work with diverse populations and adapt to evolving industry needs. The program focuses on four core areas:
- Foundational Knowledge in Exercise Science
- Health Promotion and Disease Prevention
- Exercise Testing and Prescription
- Ethical and Professional Practices
Program Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, exercise physiology, and motor learning
- Apply knowledge of exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle factors to promote health and prevent disease
- Design evidence-based exercise prescriptions for individuals of all ages, fitness levels, and health conditions
- Exhibit ethical behavior, professionalism, and effective communication in clinical, fitness, and sport settings
