Early Acceptance Program
Program Overview
The 4+4 Early Acceptance Program is a partnership with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) that provides conditionally guaranteed acceptance to qualified students as early as senior year of high school.
Students who successfully complete all program requirements will matriculate into LECOM’s College of Osteopathic Medicine and have the opportunity to earn a professional degree in one of the following tracks:
- Medicine (DO)
- Pharmacy (Pharm. D)
- Podiatric medicine (DPM)
Students may apply to Holy Family University for their undergraduate degree while simultaneously applying for a conditionally reserved seat at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) through this pathway program. Any questions regarding the LECOM application should be directed to eap@lecom.edu.
Early Acceptance Opportunity
- Conditional acceptance may be offered as early as high school senior year and before the end of the junior year
- Applicants who are admitted to the EAP medical program (DO) without contingency will not need to take the MCAT
- Students who interview, are accepted, and successfully matriculate will progress directly into LECOM’s D.O. program
MCAT Exemption Policy
Students in the 4+4 pathway may be exempt from the MCAT requirement Official SAT or ACT scores submitted to LECOM (1240) or Academic Index Score (AIS) of 115 or higher.
