Newtown West Campus

Innovation for Entrepreneurship, Life Sciences and Cybersecurity

Holy Family University seeks to expand its impact by becoming an anchor institution in Bucks County. In addition to our Newtown East campus, the University recently expanded its footprint in Bucks County with the addition of a second campus in Newtown.

The vision for the Newtown West Campus is to become an Innovation Center with programs to support Entrepreneurship, Life Sciences and Cybersecurity.

Holy Family’s Innovation Center in Newtown will house dedicated technology spaces, wet and dry laboratories and spaces to serve students, industry professionals, entrepreneurs and local businesses.

Center for Entrepreneurship and Life Sciences

Bucks County is home to an established and rapidly expanding life sciences and biotechnology corridor. Holy Family is exploring opportunities to partner with area companies and consortiums to create the Center for Entrepreneurship and Life Sciences which will serve as a site for innovation and experiential learning in the life sciences, business, and technical/medical fields to prepare graduates for careers in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, application to medical school, and FDA/NIH research and healthcare professions.

Center for Excellence in Cybersecurity

The Center for Excellence in Cybersecurity (CEC) will be a state-ofthe- art center for teaching, applying, and researching all aspects of cybersecurity. The CEC will be housed in a dedicated physical space in the recently purchased Newtown West campus in Bucks County, PA. It will include a technology laboratory on its own private subnetwork, where students, industry professionals, and local businesses can learn about cybersecurity and related technology domains. The mission of the CEC is to enhance the knowledge base related to cybersecurity for students, citizens, and business leaders living and learning in Bucks County.
